Where there is no democracy, there is no justice. There is only power and subjugation. We rebelled against that condition to form a new nation at a time when most people were entrepreneurs or apprentices. With the rise of corporations, bubbles of tyranny began to form and filled up all of our space and time with power and subjugation. The democracy we sought for everyone was consumed. The fix is simple: abolish the dictatorial business structure of the corporation, and screen and bar the predators that exploit it from productive human society.

To be publicly traded, a corporation assumes public responsibilities. Chief among these but heretofore overlooked should be the implementation of democratic processes throughout the organization at every level. This is in fact the only way to ensure the ongoing enforcement of the other elements of public responsibility and the only reason for their heretofore typical neglect. The honor system never did work and this is why democracy was invented so long ago.
